The XM-X1 was a mobile suit developed by the UCR in mid 2560 and used by members of the Adventure Group, primarily Asuna.
Technology and combat characteristics[]
The XM-X1 took combat data from other members of the AG notably from Yoko's Unicorn and the sniper mobile suit Dynames Asuna had used. It was powered by a nuclear reactor which fed power to 4 thrusters shaped in an X allowing for high mobility. The reactor also provided power for some of the beam weaponry that did not have their own energy packs. For protection the mobile suit was made of titanium coated in a protective paint for scattering beams. It's offensive capability consisted of a pair of Gatling cannons in the chest, a pair of beam sabers and heat daggers and beam rifle. A shield could be mount on the arm for additional protection. XM-X1 was able to equip missile units or thruster packs though these were rarely utilized.
Vague history[]
The XM-X1 unit was likely used in conflicts where the various Yoko's became belligerents and the Wraith war. After most of the AG disbanded, the XM-X1 along with the stock of mobile suits in the UNSC rapidly became obsolete in the wake of Variable Fighters. The combat data was saved for reference but the unit itself was transferred. A lack of parts and damage from overuse forced the XM-X1 to be abandoned on the colony Carrow in the middle of an anti Insurrectionist operation. Its nuclear reactor was ejected prior to abandonment. The mobile suit was recovered several years after it was abandoned in a state of disrepair. The XM-X1 is currently stored in a warehouse on Mars.
