Victoria J. Cunningham is a former UNSC Marine sniper who was accepted into the Spartan-IV Program due to her exceptional skill set and combat experience.
History[]
Born near the end of the Human-Covenant War, Victoria Cunningham was the child of refugees who fled to Earth for safety. Victoria joined the UNSC Marines and qualified for further training as a sniper. After graduating training this Victoria was offered acceptance into the last batch of Spartan-IV's before the program ended. In the relative peacetime she participated in counter insurgency operations, often with the watchful eye of military intelligence for her status as a IV.
At the time of the UEG-UCR war Victoria was dropped onto a UCR world with others to take out UCR military officials. In the middle of the operation Victoria was overrun by Sangheili raiders who were after promised rewards for capturing saboteurs. While she managed to kill most of her attackers, the leader of the Sangheili Osal managed to disarm her after engaging her in close quarters and took her captive as a prize. The shipmaster did not have possession of his prize for long. A minor Sangheili, Reca, had a disagreement with the shipmaster which was settled in a fatal duel and Reca took control of his former master's possessions including the captive Spartan-IV. Victoria is kept in the Sangheili's hideout on Bhedalon.
