Overload is an chaotic A.I. that was originally created by Ultratech, however, after gaining the ability to generate its own body using electrical energy, it has since gone rogue.
Personality[]
Since gaining its freedom, Overload has gone from its former cold and calculated demeanour, to a full on sadistic tormentor that's only real goal is to cause chaos wherever it may go. It finds joy in causing suffering to "biologicals", be it from simple minded, yet dangerous, pranks, to actual torture. Either way it will be found cackling like a psycho and enjoying every moments of it.
Despite splitting into two separate beings, the two entities still consider themselves as one whole and still act in unison as they would if they were still one body.

Creation[]
The A.I. that would later come to be known as Overload was originally created as one of many A.I.'s designed to pilot the Fulgore Unit. Though, despite Ultratech's efforts, all attempts to create a functional A.I. capable of operating the unit efficiently without frying had failed.
First Mission[]
All failed A.I. were scrapped, say for a select few that were to be repurposed for other experiments and missions. One such mission was the assassination of Slade Wilson, the head of the Orb Union who had been a thorn in Ultratech's side for too long, and was starting to publicly object to their practices.
An A.I. was given a metal skeletal frame to operate, one capable of generating an electrical field around itself. This was done for both defensive and offensive purposes, as well as the possibility of covering it up by pinning the blame of an enhanced.
The A.I., now dubbed Overload, was deployed alongside Psycho Mantis and a small band of Ultratech Mercenaries to the Orb Hospital Slade Wilson was being treated in, after sustaining injuries from a previous assassination attempt. Overload was sent in with a small group of mercenaries, though this was done without the formers knowledge and thus, upon meeting on the top floor, they began firing at it, prompting Overload to kill them.
Short thereafter, Overload would find and attacker Slade Wilson in his room, proving to be a challenge for him as he tried to find a way to disable the A.I.. Slade would eventually achieve this by using defibrillators on the units head, overloading its system and disabling it. After the attack, the chip containing Overload was taken by Slade and stored by ARGUS for the time being.
