The Calais class frigate is a heavy escort ship in service with the UNSC Navy. Made with technology learned from the Human-Covenant War, as well as UCR naval designs, the Calais is well armored and packs a lot of firepower for its class.

Technology and Combat CharacteristicsEdit

Calais class frigates are about as powerful an Halberd class frigate. Its guns can fire four full powered shots in a minute. These frigates can easily handle most enemy starships of comparable size and even larger ships alone. Each frigate is assigned an Artificial Human to make the most of the ships defenses and countermeasures.

Operational HistoryEdit

Fought in the UEG-UCR war.

In the initial stage of invading Orb three Calais-class frigates moved from Nippon to Orb. These three ships dropped special forces troops out whilst in slipspace. Once this objective was completed, the UNSC Bristol Sea engaged her stealth systems and snuck onto the planet Scarif.
